How do I ensure the safety of my account I purchased from DirectMMO?

The normal 'how to stay in the game' policies apply to the account you purchased from us just as it would apply to a character you have created at level 1 on your own.

A)Never use any botting, automation, or hacking programs

B)Avoid sharing your account details with other people

C)Never buy power leveling, honor grinding, skill leveling services with your own accounts you currently have, OR accounts you have bought via DirectMMO. Power leveling companies frequently uses bots to level characters, and over 90% of the time attempt to sell any excess gold made on the way to attaining your desired level to other players. This leads to a quick way to having your account suspended or closed by Blizzard. Avoid power leveling services completely, we cannot emphasize this enough.

Does transferring the character I just bought to my own account make it more secure?

Many people (and websites claiming this) believe transferring a character to a brand new account prevents the account from being recalled and make the character more "safe". This is completely false and particularly so if you have bought the account from DirectMMO. Transferring characters to new accounts does nothing to ensure the security of the character and will only raise red flags at Blizzard during the account transfer process. Ensuring account safety begins at account creation, to the leveling of the character, to the transfer of ownership from the seller to the buyer. If any step in this chain is compromised, your account is at risk, whether you move the character to a new account or not.
